Dear St. Louis Senior Olympic Athletes, Volunteers & Supporters,
Thank you for visiting our website and either taking the first step to becoming involved in the St. Louis Senior Olympics or continuing your support of our fabulous event. I cannot tell you how excited we are for 2016. Over Memorial Day Weekend, we will again host more than 1,100 athletes, 200+ volunteers, countless supporters and fans and of course our FABULOUS sponsors.
While the 2016 Games will look very similar to previous years, I wanted to let you know of some additions and changes to the slate this year. Duplicate Bridge and Cornhole have been added to the 90+ events we offer to our participants. We are excited to partner with the St. Louis Bridge Center to host the Duplicate Bridge game, and Cornhole will be played at the main venue – the J in Creve Coeur. Our Tennis Tournaments found a new home and will be played at a new venue – Forest Lake Tennis Club. Please be sure to check out our Entry Form for the full schedule of the 2016 St. Louis Senior Olympics!
The 2016 Games are again being chaired by Brian Goldman, a former J employee who began his involvement with the St. Louis Senior Olympics on the Grounds Crew, lining softball fields, filling water jugs and passing out oranges. Brian has been a longstanding Event Director of the Soccer Accuracy Kick and was the 2014 recipient of the Walter “Doc” Eberhardt Volunteer Award.
One final thank you to our amazing sponsor support, without which we would not exist. Please take a moment to visit the 2015 Sponsors page and their individual websites. If you are interested in sponsoring the 2016 St. Louis Senior Olympics, please contact me. Please continue to check the website for updates related to the 2016 St. Louis Senior Olympics.
Thank you as always for your support of the Games.
